David Ritchie

David was Chief Investment Officer at Scottish Widows from 1978 to 1998, and Deputy Group Chief Executive at Scottish Widows from 1990 to 1998. David holds Non-Executive Directorships of Schroder UK Growth Fund plc and is a Trustee of AMEC Pension Schemes.
Jeremy Richardson BA (Hons)
Director - Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy was a Private Client Stockbroker at Greig Middleton & Co Ltd in Glasgow from 1987 to 1992. Jeremy joined Cornelian Asset Managers in 1992 and led the management buyout in 2000. Jeremy's primary role with regard to client portfolios is to provide advice on investment strategy and asset allocation.
John Jackson MBA, FCIBS
Director - Chief Operating Officer
John joined Cornelian in May 2005 from National Australia Group where he was a Project Director responsible for implementation of new accounting standards across the Group's European Operations. Prior to that, John held a range of senior operational, finance and strategy roles in Scotland and Australia. This included leading the distribution arm of a project to bring the Group's Wrap and Multi-Manager offer into the UK market. At Cornelian he is responsible for Cornelian's Intermediary Division providing service and support to financial advisers and, as Chief Operating Officer, for the operational aspects of the business including Risk, IT, Finance, Investment Administration, and Human Resources.
Marcus Brooks MA, ASIP
Director - Head of Private Clients & Charities
Marcus joined Cornelian Asset Managers as a Director in 2002. In addition to his client responsibilities, Marcus leads the Private Client & Charities team and reports to the Board on the management and performance of private client and charity portfolios. A graduate of Oxford University, Marcus worked previously at the SG Warburg Group and Kleinwort Benson in London before moving to Stewart Ivory in 1994. At Stewart Ivory he was responsible for UK Equity and Fixed Interest investment and managed Investment Trust, Unit Trust, Pension and Charity portfolios.
Hector Kilpatrick MSc, ASIP
Chief Investment Officer
Hector joined Cornelian from Scottish Value Management where he managed the successful SVM UK Alpha Fund. Prior to this, he spent over six years at Standard Life Investments where he was appointed Investment Director, and was a key member of the Continental European equities team. Hector started his career at Norwich Union Investment Management having completed an MBA in Strategic Management from Imperial College Business School. At Cornelian, Hector is responsible for the management and development of the investment process and investment performance across all funds. He also works closely with the Private Clients & Charities team, headed by Marcus Brooks, in the daily monitoring and management of our client portfolios.
Michael Walker
Non-Executive Director
Michael was Managing Partner of Maclay Murray & Spens from 1994 to 2003, and Chairman until 2007. During this time he held Board positions including John Menzies plc, Securities Trust of Scotland plc, Scottish Screen, and Malmaison Hotels Ltd. His Non-Exectuive Directorships now include Lex Mundi, the world's leading association of independent law firms, Scottish Amicable, Broadgate Marketing and Chairman of Walkers Shortbread.
