Cornelian appoint new Investment Director
Cornelian Asset Managers, the Edinburgh-based boutique investment house, have expanded their Investment team with the appointment of David Appleton as Investment Director.
David, previously a senior investment analyst and fund manager at Alder Investment Management, will manage their high conviction UK equity investments alongside Hector Kilpatrick, Chief Investment Officer at Cornelian, and will contribute to asset allocation decisions for all client portfolios and Cornelian’s range of multi-asset, risk-managed funds. In addition he will share responsibility for marketing the investment proposition to third parties.
Kilpatrick states “We are delighted to welcome David to the investment team. He has excellent stock and fund selection skills and strong multi-asset investment credentials and we look forward to his contribution”.
This latest appointment follows Cornelian’s expansion last year as a result of the success of their risk managed funds range - specifically designed to meet the needs of advisers and their clients – which has grown from around £60m in 2010 to over £195m today and has a strong track record of investment performance.
